SOVA is a Somali non-profit organization that works to help people build sustainable livelihoods. We provide a range of services, including:
Nutrition: We provide food assistance to people who are malnourished or who have been affected by natural disasters.
Shelter: We provide emergency shelter and repairs to IDPs and vulnerable community in southern and central Somalia that have been damaged or destroyed.
Protection: We provide legal aid and psychosocial support to people who have been affected by conflict, droughts, floods or violence.
Education: We provide access to education for children and adults who have been displaced or who have missed out on school.
Peacebuilding: We work to build peace and reconciliation between communities. We do this by providing training in conflict resolution, mediation, and peacebuilding. We also support community-based peace initiatives.
WASH: We work to improve access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. We do this by building water points, latrines, and showers. We also provide training in hygiene and sanitation.
