The shelter/NFI program provided by SOVA organization in southern and central Somalia is a vital lifeline for families who have been displaced by conflict and drought. The program provides families with tents, plastic sheeting, blankets, jerry cans, and other essential items to help them protect themselves from the elements and rebuild their lives.
The program is also helping to improve the resilience of communities to future shocks. By providing families with the tools and resources they need to build their own shelters, the program is helping to create a more sustainable future for communities in southern and central Somalia.
